I updated the colour palette of my journal today and somehow managed to lose bullet points entirely in the process. They don’t show up on my reading page or main blog anymore, and I have no idea how that’s possible when I just changed the colours. Oops!

I’m not sure how to say this, so I’ll get right to it: I’ve changed my preferred pronouns. I am going by they/them at the moment. Uh, thanks!

I’m challenging myself to watch 15 films in April, so one every other day. So far I’ve watched Her (2013) and Thor: Love & Thunder (2022), and tonight it’s Gravity (2013). I also watched Conclave recently and was pleased it lived up to the hype. I put all the films I wanted to give a go in a pot and have been pulling them out at random. It’s been fun so far!

I thought I'd share a selection of things that have been occupying me and/or making me smile recently.

I doodled two Magnemites for these tiny silver frames I found at a jumble sale recently that will probably end up on my future Magnemite ita bag :)

There are currently two writing pinch hits up for grabs for pokepodproject's Unown round if you're looking for a fun writing challenge. They both got claimed this evening! Thank Arceus for amazing pinch hitters ^^

I'm really happy with how things are going with the event. The stories submitted so far are so creative (can't wait for reveals so everyone gets to read them!) and I'm honestly feeling a lot more connected to the Unown than I ever have. We'll probably continue doing mini rounds in gen order when relevant, but I've also been thinking about how fun it could be to mix things up with regional form or mega rounds too. Because, well, if we continue doing one generation per year, we won't be finished with generation ten until 2034 XD

I needed something cheery today, so here's an update on my Magnemite collection, with lots of pics ^^

1. Burger King Toys

First up, here are two Burger King toys featuring Magnemite!



The first is this hilarious looking spinning top from 1997 that categorically does not spin, hah. The teeny tiny magnets and stumpy screw arms are so cute. They are rotund. The eBay seller was perhaps the nicest one in existence. I also grabbed Burger King toys he'd had in his attic since the 90s for Clefairy, Oddish, and Togepi, (but they're not the theme of this post, so they can stay mysterious for now 🤭)



Next up, it's this fake, miniature Gameboy (with my childhood Gameboy for size comparison) from 2000. It is such a useless toy, as it's essentially just a hunk of plastic and does absolutely nothing, but when I saw it, I had to have it!

My Fresh Femslash Salad Bar prompt tables for Feb!

I'm hoping to make podfics. My final works will be linked in the fourth table and contain one prompt from "Noir", "Time Count", and "Colours." Noir will inform what kind of story I podfic, Time Count will be my goal length, and I'm hoping to make the colour prompts the predominant colour in my cover art. This will be fun!

I’ve decided to post more event roundups to my journal this year. I’ve always wanted to, though various niggling anxieties about doing so have stopped me from doing so with any regularity.

But this is my journal! I can talk about things I made and gifts I received! These posts are mostly for me to look back on and go, wow, I did things, and wow, people did nice things for me, though I hope they also bring attention to the cool new things that exist in fandom thanks to fun events ^^ I'm aiming at one roundup per month this year.
