- Background music or sounds/ambience throughout
- SFX & soundscapes
- Podfics with streaming options
- Unconventional formats – epistolary, mission reports, meta, etc. (I’m not keen on oral not!fic.)
- Whispered/ASMR style recordings.
Do Not Wants: crossovers, readerfic, genderswaps, trans headcanons, poetry, amputation, setting-change AUs, (e.g., college/university AU), soulmate AUs, mundane AUs (e.g., coffee shop, human AU for non-human characters)
Please note: I have tinnitus & hyperacusis, so I’m extremely bothered by sudden loud noises. Please level/limit your volume or warn me of loud timestamps so I am prepared. Thank you!
The Murderbot Diaries – Martha Wells
ART/Murderbot
I’m a MB fandom newb, having just finished binging the books. ART/Murderbot own my heart! I love their dynamic and feel I’ve only scratched the surface of the fic and podfic that exists for them. Anything with these two will be loved, (though please note my Human AU DNW!)
I see fans sometimes tag them ART & Murderbot rather than “/” if either of them is asexual in the fic – it’s cool with me either way.
Pokémon – All Media Types
Any Pokémon
There isn’t really any Pokémon I don’t like, and even if there is, listening to a podfic about them would help me find a new appreciation for them, you know? π Any Pokémon will be cherished, as will podfics of stories containing original characters or canon characters with Pokémon. (I’d much prefer stories that focus on Pokémon or Pokémon interacting with human characters, not ships please.)
What We Do in the Shadows (TV)
Guillermo de la Cruz/Nandor the Relentless
I fell in love with this show late last year and would enjoy a podfic of any story about this pairing! If it’s useful info, I’m a bottom!Nandor enjoyer, though honestly I see them both as switches, so either way works for me (or neither way if they’re not canoodling βΊοΈ) I’ll be especially happy if Guillermo is happy or at least gets a happy ending.
