Out of the Auditary Roundup

The Out of the Auditary 2021 collection is live and is the biggest since it started! That's 45 awesome podfics of works that don't fit the standard fanfiction format ;-D

I ended up enjoying this fest more than I anticipated. There was something about celebrating the unusual that made me want to step outside my comfort zone in almost every respect. I asked for permission to record via Twitter (something I've never done before). I included background music (again, something I've never tried.) I added voice filters, sound effects, gifs on covers, and now I'm thinking... I should be doing this all the time! XD

I made three pods, each a different original format, and I've shared some rambly thoughts about them below. I also took part in a multivoice podfic arranged via the Podfichat Discord.

On that theme, and because 17776 is a very 'mixed media' canon, I've added elements I usually wouldn't: sound effects and voice edits, background music, and gifs on the cover!
