Fandom is really keeping me in one piece at the moment. I'm so glad holiday events are a thing! (Seriously, if you've ever modded anything for fandom, thank you.)

FANDOM TREES fandomtrees
About: A mulitfandom gifting fest. Participants sign up with information about the fandoms, prompts, etc, they want, as well as any DNWs. Other people will then leave gifts under the trees, and the mod(s) will reveal those on the reveal date. Signups are open for two more days!

I'll be scanning the trees once signups close to see where I can gift podfic this year :) My tree is here! If you'd like to write or draw me a little something, I'm requesting: Our Flag Means Death, Pokemon, Star Wars, and Slo Mo Guys RPF!

HOLIDAY WISHES holiday_wishes
About: Participants post a list of up to ten wishes and members of the community grant them over the holiday period!

It's become an annual tradition for me to buy a bunch of DW points in December and gift them as part of Holiday Wishes. I've still got a lot left to gift, and I love leaving comments/kudos and making podfic for this fest too. Please sign up if it looks up your street - there are already over 60 wish lists but we can always do with more :) My wish list is here!

HOLIDAY WISHES: My fourth holiday_wishes post is live, too. I'm wishing for four things this year: comments on my fic, Independence Day fic/art/podfic, people to take me up on my Charity Podfic offerings, and anyone who'd like to trade with me on Pokemon TCG Online. My wishlist is posted here. (If you've never heard of that community, I recommend it - everyone is lovely.)

It's been exactly one month since I last posted here, gah. Hello!

Being knocked out by the dreaded virus has taken its toll on my podfic output (and fic writing, *woe*.) I'm starting to feel much better now though, and I'm hoping to make some more podfic before the new year thanks to the following events which I'm here to signal boost :-D

voiceteam's Mystery Box
After missing their first round earlier this year, I was pleased to see Voice Team return for the holiday period. There are still two days to sign-up for their two-week 'Mystery Box' challenge (along with 70+ other podficcers who've already put their name down!) The info post is here. Go, go, go!

I've really enjoyed seeing seeing people ask for podfic in their wishlists. If you haven't posted a wishlist yet, there's still time! Over sixty have gone up so far, and here's mine if you fancy checking it out :-)

fandomtrees Gifting Fest
These kinds of fests are my favourite. Sign-ups are closed, so the fun now is dropping presents under people's trees. I love that their spreadsheet shows which trees are a little bereft of baubles at the moment. You can also use it to filter by fandom and requested medium type to see who's looking for art, fic, podfic, icons, etc. My tree is here (and to save you a click, I'm asking for art, fic, and podfic for: BASEketball (1998), The Book of Mormon - Paker/Stone/Lopez, Independence Day (Movies), and Monty Python's Flying Circus!)

purimgifts 2021
Sign-ups are just over two weeks away, and I've already started on my letter. I may be excited! This will be my first time taking part, and for those who don't know, Purim Gifts is a fanfic and/or podfic exchange with a side-helping of art, focusing on characters who’re at least one of: women, Jewish or persecuted by evil viziers.
