I was lucky enough to receive a podfic of one of my fanfics, Early Days [Star Trek: TNG]. It's a fluffy AU story about Data and Lore's time on Omicron Theta that I wrote for last year's Turing Fest exchange. You can listen to the wonderful podfic of it here. At this point, I don't know who the reader is, but I can't wait to find out because they read beautifully! I'm fangirling like mad.
This podfic is so inspiring too. The music, the sound effects, even the reader's notes at the end. It was all so great to listen to and was so well done. I will have to try my hand at something similar (especially the music) and hope I can do anywhere near as good a job as my lovely gifter has.
