Fandom Wax Melts

fandomtrumpshate Craft Bizarre. Here's my post about it. Fashionably late as usual! Under the cut are some pics of the melts I made for my three winners plus some other fannish wax melts I've made recently inspired by What We Do in the Shadows and the Date Everything! video game.
π Canine Crunch - Rockruff - Citrus π
If the scents don't seem to match, that's because that's what my winner was into (and also... what would Rockruff smell like? Probably not that great, haha.) I was really proud of how the marbling came out on this one! The glitter mix I used was called Sandstorm, which I thought was cool (as it's a Pokemon move).
𫧠Wax Transform - Ditto - Bubblegum π«§
Two of my winners wanted Ditto wax melts, but while I was thinking about colour and scent, I realised that sometimes Ditto is pink and sometimes purple, so I asked my winners what they prefered and got one of each! (What do you think? Is this another The Dress situation?) I also made a bonus shiny ditto wax melt in icy blue for one of my winners who donated a lot over my minimum ^^
πΊ Fresh Fangs - Mightyena - "Roaring Waterfall" πΊ
It was so hard to photograph these ones because they were super grey. I added little flakes of glitter that match Mightyena's eyes. The scent was so strong. I hope they made my winner's home smell good for days.
π Citrus Blast - Charizard - Roasted Clementine π₯
I loved the scent of these ones (citrus is my fave.) It was probably my favourite in terms of colour and scent. I always made big batches as I find it easier and less stressful, so I was glad to have some of my own to burn too ^^
β°οΈ Relentless Scent - Nandor (the Relentless) - Palo Santo π§
I made these over the weekend after finishing What We Do in the Shadows. (Oh my god!) They've got little rhodochrosite pieces in them that reveal as they melt. I used to like sprinkling crystals on the back of my melts, but tbh sometimes the texture gave me the creeps, so now I just let them sink in while the wax is still hot. This was my first time using mica powder as well as candle dye and the colour is much richer and looked incredibly pretty in the jug. I'm still waiting for them to cure, so I'll hopefully get to see the pretty marbling effect again when I melt them in a week or so. π
βοΈ Play Boy - Parker: Date Everything! - Old Library π±
These are for my friend whose favourite DE! character is Parker and who also knows my journal exists but doesn't check it I think. (I hope so anyway!) They'll be going in the post to her soon. I LOVE Parker's design, and I knew that multicoloured, papery-looking glitter was for him the moment I started looking through my stash. I subtly asked my friend what she thinks Parker smells like, which is why I went for the old library smell. It's very pleasant!
I also made these bonus mini melts shaped like checkers pieces that match his little skirt/tunic thing:
