voiceteam participant to take part - Everyone is welcome! This event is not endorsed by or an official part of Voice Team, it's simply the Dandy Lions team wanting to continue the fun now that the 2022 round is over.
Podfic Comment Bingo
Welcome to Podfic Comment Bingo! This was heavily inspired by the format ofcomment_bingo and jocundasykes ' suggestion of some kind of podfic-based commenting game. The Voice Team Dandy Lions have compiled a list of 50+ prompts (see 'Prompt List' below) and by signing up on this post, you'll receive a randomly generated 3 x 3 bingo card containing nine prompts. You can request a HTML/text-based card or a JPEG you can save. You can also request a bigger card if you're feeling adventurous! Podfic Comment Bingo will be open for signups until 31 July 2022. Signups for new cards are now closed, though you're welcome to generate your own cards using the prompts listed here if you'd like! There's no time limit, but for those who like deadlines, feel free to make it the end of the year.
Each prompt relates to commenting on podfic, E.g., 'Comment on a podfic with no comments.' If these kinds of challenges aren't your thing but you like the idea, please feel free to spread the word about this event even if you’re not participating.
Signing Up
To sign up, simply comment on this post saying you'd like a card. Anon comments are enabled. You don't have to be a DW member, a podficcer, a VT participant, or anything else to take part. The only requirement is an interest in spreading podfic comment love!
Please include the following in your comment:
1) Would you like a text or image-based card? If you don't mention card type, you'll receive an image by default.
2) Are there any prompts you'd like excluded from your card? You can request as many as you like be removed.
3) Would you like a larger card? If you don't mention card size, you'll receive a 3 x 3 card by default. You can ask for a 4 x 4 or 5 x 5 card.
Getting Bingo!
You can get Bingo by completing a line vertically, diagonally, or horizontally on your card. You can also go for Corners or a Blackout of all squares! When you get a Bingo, Corners, or Blackout, feel free to share your achievement in your comment thread on this post - the Dandy Lions team will be extremely proud of you ;-)
