You could probably consume this canon in about half an hour, though prepare yourself for a wild ride and to get sucked into the weird world of Ulrich Haarbürste! These short stories are all about Ulli and his pet terrapin, Jetta, and his strange—bordering on sexual—obsession with wrapping Roy Orbison in clingfilm, which is a situation he finds himself in more than you might expect. These stories have inspired many an adaptation, and I hope they’ll inspire more fic too! All the stories are available on the website linked at the end of this section, though some have been published in a book. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get my hands on it yet, so my request is based solely on the web-available stories.
I’d love something silly to give me a giggle at reveals. Crossing into Roy/Ulli territory is also fine, though I’d prefer feelings of those kind to remain simmering under the surface as in the source material. Something written in the stories’ style would make me laugh, and really, a laugh is all I want from fic for this bizarre world where there’s always clingfilm available and Roy Orbison happens to be around for some reason.

I’m kinda new here, but I blame Con and Nathan for doing stuff. like. this. and pushing me from casually shipping Izzy/Lucius to completely losing it over them hourly.
I love begrudging sub Izzy, bitter angry nasty Izzy, an Izzy who just needs some tenderness, and an Izzy who refuses to confront his feelings for Lucius until something means he has to. I love Lucius being able to read Izzy like a book, his cockiness, his flirty banter and his big doe eyes. Their differences are what I love the most though, not just height and size but everything. I can never resist a hateship, and all the hate is squished into Izzy for this one, which is perfect.
Angsty fic and no happy endings are fine, though I’d prefer this relationship to be consensual (or dubcon of the Something Made them Do It variety.) I’m also into Izzy having some massive and unrequited feelings for Blackbeard, so feel free to include Izzy/Blackbeard angst, pining, jealousy over Stede, and any unresolved feelings too. Also, background Lucius/Black Pete is lovely. They don’t own each other.
Prompts:
Clarification on my amputation DNW: I would not like to receive anything focusing on the act of their canonical amputations and their immediate aftermath. It’s fine to mention their missing parts or have them encountering associated problems later (Izzy limping, for example) but not fic/art dwelling on their suffering due to their amputations. Feel free to make them suffer or whump the hell out them in other ways though – I’m so into that!

When it comes Python fic, I love crack treated seriously. Like, honestly, you can write me something 100% sober and serious about these zany characters and scenarios and I’d love it to pieces. I also love stuff in the show’s wacky vein and stuff that expands on sketches by extending them, what happened next, or putting those characters in new canon-typical scenarios. The only thing I’m not keen on is intentionally bad crackfic without structure. Cameos from unrequested characters are absolutely welcome!

Ignore my poetry DNW for this pairing. I just want more of these guys. They’re so cute and hilarious. What other “illnesses” can be caught in this universe? How did they catch poetry and short stories and how have they struggled with it before? I adore that the man who’s caught poetry is so willing to listen to the man’s short story about Dennis Moore – what do they do after that? Do they fall in love while suffering from these illnesses? Do they bicker and fight in poetic verse and shortform stories? Or just let them kiss! XD PS: I had no idea they had names until I found this script while writing my letter! And that amazing shift from the presenter’s virtual worship of Eversley to their becoming sworn enemies – oh my god, the drama! I’d love the presenter following Eversley to the four corners of the earth for revenge. I’d love smut featuring the presenter’s height kink – does Eversley tease/belittle him about being so short, perhaps? I’d love something backstage of Archaeology Today, before or after the disastrous episode (which doesn’t actually end until after their fight in 1920’s Egypt!) I’d love anything you want to write about these two!

I have a ridiculous headcanon that Raymond has a thing for surgeries (and obviously for Sir Sir Adrian), hence him turning up and trying to trick him into performing plastic surgery on him when he doesn’t need it. As someone with a medical kink, I’d love something smutty with Sir Sir Adrian playing along and pretending to do super serious surgery on Raymond. It would blow my mind quite honesty. Tell me about their camping holiday together! What made them so happy they were skipping through the woods hand in hand? What things did they get up to? How long has Raymond been hoping he’d ask him?

(There was something going on.)

Mr N and Mrs S are so freaking cute together, oh my god (I think I have a thing for Terry J in drag, oh dear.) I’d love anything about them and how they got together, and anything about Mr Neutron’s exciting life as the most powerful man in the universe! Seriously, some pre- and post-canon worldbuilding around F.E.E.B.L.E. would be fascinating, as would exploration into the fact that Mr N is an alien (What planet is he from? What other talents does he have?), and just anything and everything from this episode. What about Mr N and Mrs S living it up in Benidorm if the world hadn’t ended (or maybe after it does!) Cuddling and silliness and words being spelled out u-n-n-e-c-e-s-s-a-r-i-l-y. Might Mr. N finally get the enormous quantities of ice cream he wanted? Oh, oh! And Mrs S show Mr N “boring” human things and him finding them completely fascinating! My heart!

I adore this sketch/episode and I blame my love of time loops. How has the presenter gotten into this situation? Is it the premise of this week’s episode of It’s The Mind that initiates the loop? And why is he looping, and how does he escape!
The whole Psychiatric Dairies Ltd. thing is hilarious. I love the journey the psychiatrist float takes the presenter on through other parts of the episode. (There’s a deleted scene from the Election Night Special sketch where the milk float and presenter pass through a segment where they’re asking the public about the election. I’d love his journey to bring him through other Python sketches, too!) And Dr Cream! His moustache!! I find it so funny yet so spooky how it moves about his face, especially when it’s ON HIS GLASSES! Is the location of his moustache the one difference in each loop? Is it the key to the presenter’s escape?
Other characters from the episode I enjoy are the gynaecologist on his lunch hour, Mrs Ratbag/Pimm, the milkman, the milkmaid nurse, the bishop rehearsing his line about Mr Belpit’s swollen legs. Are they unaware of the loop? Can they help the presenter?

- And related, I still can’t believe Dan got glass exploded into his hand and Gav was just like “tehe, let me film you trying to bandage your own hand”. Fix -it where Gav helps and is tender and concerned would be amazing.

These short stories are all about Ulli and his pet terrapin, Jetta, and his strange—bordering on sexual—obsession with wrapping Roy Orbison in clingfilm, which is a situation he finds himself in more than you might expect. These stories have inspired many an adaptation, and I hope they’ll inspire more fic too! All the stories are available on the website linked at the end of this section, though some have been published in a book. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get my hands on it yet, so my request is based solely on the web-available stories.
I’d love something silly to give me a giggle at reveals. Crossing into Roy/Ulli territory is also fine, though I’d prefer feelings of those kind to remain simmering under the surface as in the source material. Something written in the stories’ style would make me laugh, and really, a laugh is all I want from fic for this bizarre world where there’s always clingfilm available and Roy Orbison happens to be around for some reason.

I’m kinda new here, but I blame Con and Nathan for doing stuff. like. this. and pushing me from casually shipping Izzy/Lucius to completely losing it over them hourly.
I love begrudging sub Izzy, bitter angry nasty Izzy, an Izzy who just needs some tenderness, and an Izzy who refuses to confront his feelings for Lucius until something means he has to. I love Lucius being able to read Izzy like a book, his cockiness, his flirty banter and his big doe eyes. Their differences are what I love the most though, not just height and size but everything. I can never resist a hateship, and all the hate is squished into Izzy for this one, which is perfect.
Angsty fic and no happy endings are fine, though I’d prefer this relationship to be consensual (or dubcon of the Something Made them Do It variety.) I’m also into Izzy having some massive and unrequited feelings for Blackbeard, so feel free to include Izzy/Blackbeard angst, pining, jealousy over Stede, and any unresolved feelings too. Also, background Lucius/Black Pete is lovely. They don’t own each other.

- Lucius is cursed with something shapeshifty and tentacly and needs to lay eggs inside someone pronto. Isn’t it great that Izzy is there?
Clarification on my amputation DNW: I would not like to receive anything focusing on the act of their canonical amputations and their immediate aftermath. It’s fine to mention their missing parts or have them encountering associated problems later (Izzy limping, for example) but not fic/art dwelling on their suffering due to their amputations. Feel free to make them suffer or whump the hell out them in other ways though – I’m so into that!

Seriously, some pre- and post-canon worldbuilding around F.E.E.B.L.E. would be fascinating, as would exploration into the fact that Mr N is an alien (What planet is he from? What other talents does he have?), and just anything and everything from this episode. What about Mr N and Mrs S living it up in Benidorm if the world hadn’t ended (or maybe after it does!) Cuddling and silliness and words being spelled out u-n-n-e-c-e-s-s-a-r-i-l-y. Might Mr. N finally get the enormous quantities of ice cream he wanted? Oh, oh! And Mrs S show Mr N “boring” human things and him finding them completely fascinating! My heart!

I adore this sketch/episode and I blame my love of time loops. How has the presenter gotten into this situation? Is it the premise of this week’s episode of It’s The Mind that initiates the loop? And why is he looping, and how does he escape!
The whole Psychiatric Dairies Ltd. thing is hilarious. I love the journey the psychiatrist float takes the presenter on through other parts of the episode. (There’s a deleted scene from the Election Night Special sketch where the milk float and presenter pass through a segment where they’re asking the public about the election. I’d love his journey to bring him through other Python sketches, too!) And Dr Cream! His moustache!! I find it so funny yet so spooky how it moves about his face, especially when it’s ON HIS GLASSES! Is the location of his moustache the one difference in each loop? Is it the key to the presenter’s escape?
Other characters from the episode I enjoy are the gynaecologist on his lunch hour, Mrs Ratbag/Pimm, the milkman, the milkmaid nurse, the bishop rehearsing his line about Mr Belpit’s swollen legs. Are they unaware of the loop? Can they help the presenter?

A "how many things can go wrong?" IF or CYOA would be hilarious for this show, as would something with alternate endings if Basil had just chosen the simple options or, you know, just been nice or a normal person about things! He always makes life so difficult for himself.
I’d love complaint forms or reviews to be from canon characters, though it would also be cool to hear the POV of original characters who might’ve been present during episodes. It could also be complaints from off-screen periphery scenes, such as people in Andre’s restaurant (was the food excellent besides the man who kept running through at top speeds with a silver cloche clutched in his arms?) or other patients at the hospital who heard Basil’s shouting through the walls while they were trying to recover.
As for my magazine-related opt-ins, is there perhaps a local gazette? Does Torquay Digest(?) feature reviews of restaurants/accommodation, ads for local businesses, featured articles about Torquay life? I’d love to see reviews here too. Could also be adverts, such as O’Reilly’s vs Stubbs’ builders, or Polly showing some of her art in a local gallery. Maybe there’s a Lost and Found section (pet rat, perhaps?) or a Lonely Hearts page with a few very Obvious adverts. I will adore even the smallest detail you might want to throw in for something like this.
As for my Basil/Lord Melbury request, I'm thinking something along the lines of my first prompt, with Lord Melbury seeing how far he can get Basil to go to please him. Thanks to his perceived class, Basil will let the man get away with pretty much anything in his hotel, so perhaps he talks away any problems he might've had with his suggestions as something the upper classes do; perhaps he thinks it's just a bit of good old fashioned fagging. Let's also not forget when Manuel says that Kurt tried to kiss him, Basil goes, "Oh, what's one little..." before he's cut off. What's one little kiss if it keeps a Lord staying at his hotel? (I'm not taking this pairing very seriously, so you don't need to either if you want to go with this. But I have always wondered...)
